About Marple

Earth observation, made useful.

Marple was founded in 2021 by Daniel Lanz, Dr. David Scherf and Santiago Pazos, three colleagues who had worked together for more than ten years on pattern recognition and object detection. Based in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany, Marple is independent, financed by its own capital and public programme funding, and focused on projects with real ecological and societal impact.
